Ebay has been trying to block direct links to sales items. Of course, they want everyone to be forced to go through their home page and all the associated ads, etc. that are there. If you use the Ebay search function and then copy the address at the top of the page or right click on an item in a list to get the link, frequently it will not work.

So ... when posting an Ebay item here, copy the following address code and add the item number at the end. Be sure not to put in any blank spaces. It will then link directly to the item. It's a bit of a hassle but it does work. When you post the topic in The Classic Locator, the address will appear in an abbreviated form.
