I bought this over the weekend. PO says it is a 1964 Eagle the engine is also a 1964 made by Gale. I found out they stopped making Gale engines in 1963. So far I have not been able to find a boat anything like it. Other than a bad transom, it appears solid. One odd thing about the boat is that it does not have a fiberglass over plywood floor. the floor is concaved and fits right over bottom part of hull making the floor very solid. There is also a decal on the dash that says "Aqua-Maid" that looks like it is original. Anyway I bought it to use the engine on another boat. So, I will do a little research on it and may start on it this fall and go through it. It does have a nice clean windshield and the rub molding has been removed but still in good shape. Original color looks two tone green under the poor paint job.

Looks like the boat is actually a Span America, inc. Still trying to confirm.

Got a confirmation from a knowledgable person that this boat is a 1967 or 1968 Span American Nomad.

Started stripping paint and rebuilding the transom. Also bought a donor boat today. It has a 1958 Johnson 50 HP. The donor is a 1960 16" aluminum runabout. Title says Cherokee. Has a nice galvanized trailer. I have title for both boat and trailer. Probably try and find them a new home. PM me if interested.
