Hi guys,. For the last six or eight years I have had this old aluminum boat. I bought it from a co-worker, just because I thought it was a cool looking old boat and I planned to do some fishing with it. Over the next few years I'd say I used the boat four maybe five times, then she was parked in the back fourty. No time, no money to fix, so she just sat there. Year before last I moved in with my lady. The old boat wasn't welcome. I liked my old boat, even though I had not used her in years. So I made a deal with a close friend. She had a space in his back fourty. Few weeks ago I got the bug to look her up on the net, and find out what she was, and from where she came. After some very long hours in front of my computer, on many forums and many sites, I discovered she was a Sports-Kraft Versatile Cruiser-ette.. I was surprised at the lack of info on these boats. (maybe I'm looking in the wrong place) The very next day I called to tell my buddy that I was coming after my boat!! (mad woman or not) So I went and got her, peeling paint, rotten floor , and bad trailor tires.. I've pressure washed her twice, and removed the floor.. Its not a purty boat, but its my boat.. Oh I have big plans,.. Thinking about having her soda blasted and repainted a nice retro color, and finding a nice vintage motor.. A new trailor may be fabracated to match..
