Anyone want a free woodie? I lusted for one of these US Molded Shapes hulls from the time I was 13 or 14 years old, finally found one about 5 years ago and bought it. It had been hanging upside down in a shed since 1961 or 62. The man I bought it from had orderd 2... one for him and one for his brother. They built one boat, but never built the 2nd. I bought it some 40 years later.

It is about 17' long, and is pretty wide, and deep. Nothing but the hull... no transom, decking, anything. It's never had a deck or anything built onto it. It's in good shape, but the edges along the top of a little rough, but you're going to be trimming it along the edges anyway to get the desired shape and deminsions you want, so that won't matter anyway. The pics are from the day I picked it up in Dallas. It was very dusty and has some water marks on it as you can see, but it will clean up nicely.

I have it in my living room, well the living room of my old huse, but I have to have this house emptied out and renovated by the 1st of the year so this boat has got to go. I have NO WHERE to store it so if it does not find a home it will be set out behind my house and covered up and with our humidity it will rot peacefully into the earth. I don't want to do this but I have no choice. Someone please save this boat. It is free, but sympathy donations will be accepted. LOL ... Located in Ruston, Louisiana about an hour east of Shreveport on I-20. No trailer is included. Thanks.
