I'm a new member here and i'm still trying to figure out how to work the site so please bear with me until I figure it all out. I already posted pictures of my project on my profile for everyone to see. The boat is a 1990 Playtime Fiberglass open bow model 160. Yes its not a pontoon. And when I bought it i never knew they made a fiberglass boat. I didn't like the boat when i looked at it but I offered 1500.00 for the boat motor and trailer. Little did i know as the project progressed I found that i liked the boat more and more. I was lucky being the boat is 20 years old but it was stored in a garage. I found no rot anywhere and the fiberglass work i did was more to strengthen the boat and fix a slight aliment problem with the windshield. I bought it from the original owner . I have 2 phases, Phase 1 was all the interior work the trailer and all the basic upgrades. Phase 2 is the hyd steering , cmc jack plate and a new mercury motor. i'm currently just starting phase 2 and I hope to have it completed by mid summer.
