Here is a question I have not seen elsewhere.
I know when fiberglass boats really started to get popular there were a lot of overnight boat manufacturers that sprung up in Texas, especially between Dallas and Texarkana.
Does any one know where I could find a list of the Texas boat manufacturers that existed in the 1950’s and 1960s?

I know Skeeter Boats is still located in Kilgore, TX and they have been around since 1948.
