I bought this to put on my 1958 LoneStar Skylark. It look like there is a 5" extension making a short shaft in to a long shaft. My question was this sold as a bolt in kit with just a coupler sort of thing and can be removed without additional parts? I don't need the lenth.

I have that same motor on my Lonestar, I will check if it has the extension, cool boat you have!

My motor has the same extension, I don't know if its necessary or not~
